Oksana Ezhokina, is a native of Ryazan, Russia. The winner of piano competitions in Russia and the United States, Ms. Ezhokina has given numerous solo and chamber performances in both countries. Her collaborations have included concerts with such ensembles as the Seattle Chamber Players, Klimt Piano Trio and the Contemporary Chamber Players. A dedicated performer of works by contemporary composers, she has premiered music by Laura Kaminsky and Paul Drescher, among others. Ms. Ezhokina was awarded a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2004. She also holds an Artist Diploma from the Ryazan School of Music in Russia, a Master of Music degree in piano from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Walla Walla College. Her principal teachers were Christina Dahl, Donald Walker, Leonard Richter and Eleanor Oragyoff, and she has coached chamber music with pianists Gilbert Kalish and Seymour Lipkin as well as members of the Juilliard, Emerson, Orion and Vermeer String Quartets. Ms. Ezhokina is Resident Pianist at Icicle Creek Music Center, is Co-Artistic Director and teaches a full piano studio at the Music Center. |

Mary Jensen, flutist, is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a Performance Diploma. While at Oberlin she was a recipient of the Merit and Dean’s Talent Scholarships. Currently serving as Principal Flutist of the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, Mary has also appeared as principal flutist with such orchestras as the Lake Chelan Bach Fest, Oberlin Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, Wenatchee Valley Symphony, Oberlin Contemporary Music Ensemble, and the Marrowstone Music Festival. Ms. Jensen has been a prize winner in the Washington State Solo, MusicFest Northwest, and Helen Crowe Snelling competitions. Festival appearances include the Campamento Musical Juvenil (Panama), Icicle Creek Music Center, Marrowstone Music Festival, Evergreen Music Festival, and Lake Chelan Bach Fest. Mary has also soloed with numerous orchestras throughout the Northwest region. Mary’s studies were with Michel Debost at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Hal Ott at Central Washington University, and baroque flute studies with Kathie Lynn, also at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. In addition to her position with Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, Mary currently is the Supervisor of the University of Washington Music Library, serves as Assistant Director of Tacoma Youth Symphony's Symphonic Wind Arts Training program, and freelances, adjudicates and teaches throughout the Northwest. |

Rebekah Poulson, violinist, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah in Piano Pedagogy and Violin Performance. Then she studied with Steven Staryk at the University of Washington, earning a Master’s degree in Violin Performance. Currently she performs as the concertmaster of the Wenatchee Valley Symphony. She also maintains a private music studio for piano and violin students. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband and five children.

Ariel Poulson is a senior at Wenatchee High School and a Running Start student at the Wenatchee Valley College. Ariel began playing with the Wenatchee Valley Symphony when she won the Young Artists competition as a freshman. Since then, she has received Superior ratings at the state level in the Washington State Solo and Ensemble Contest three years in a row. In 2008, she played with the All-State Chamber Orchestra. In 2009, she played with the All-Northwest (Six states) Symphony Orchestra. And under the baton of Gerard Schwarz, she played in a side-by-side concert with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Currently, she plays with the Wenatchee Valley Symphony and is the concertmaster with the Wenatchee High School Chamber Orchestra. When she is not playing her violin, she likes to read, draw, paint, and write stories.
