Youth Orchestra Levels

Junior Orchestra

Students who have had a minimum of two years of string experience on violin, viola, cello, or bass and have basic note reading abilities. This ensemble focuses on introductory level music and ensemble skills. WVJO students participate in weekly sectionals, rehearsals, and perform three concerts per season.

Youth Orchestra

Students who have had a minimum of three years of playing experience on a string, woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. This ensemble focuses on continuing the development of technical, musical and ensemble skills. WVYO students participate in weekly sectionals, rehearsals and perform three concerts per season, including a collaboration with the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra.

Youth Wind Ensemble

Students who have had a minimum of three years of playing experience on a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. This ensemble focuses on continuing the development of technical, musical and ensemble skills. WVYW students participate in weekly sectionals, rehearsals and perform three concerts per season, including collaboration with the Wenatchee Valley Youth Orchestra.
