Experience the 2025-2026 Season

  • Concert I: Tchaikovsky Discovers America

    September 27, 2025

Based on the actual historical event, this story tells of the great composer’s arrival in New York for the grand opening of Carnegie Hall in 1891 and his famous trip to Niagara Falls. A surprise encounter with a young American girl, Jennie, reveals much about Tchaikovsky – his life in Russia, his love of music and his fears of conducting. This is a poignant story of the meeting of old world influences and new world experiences; a tale of contrast, courage and classical music.

  • Concert II: A Star Wars Saga

    October 25, 2025

John Williams is the composer behind the iconic scores of the Star Wars saga. He composed the music for all nine of the main Star Wars films, spanning from the original trilogy (1977-1983) to the sequel trilogy (2015-2019). His work on Star Wars is renowned for its use of leitmotifs, where musical themes are associated with specific characters or ideas, and for its grand, symphonic style that evokes a sense of epic adventure. This concert will also feature Michael Giacchino’s score to Rogue One.

  • Concert III: America the Beautiful

    March 7, 2026

Come enjoy the music of our country with this concert including traditional American folk songs, a tribute to our region's largest river, and a new work by Peter Boyer: Rhapsody in Red, White, & Blue (featuring pianist Jeffrey Biegel).

  • Concert IV: Immortal Beloved

    April 18, 2026

2027 marks 200 years since Beethoven’s death. To this day, no one knows for sure the name of Beethoven’s love, the recipient of his famous “Immortal Beloved” letter. He carried the secret of his eternal muse to the grave...Three phenomenal women surface as possibilities and this new, multi-movement concerto offers a portrait of each through gorgeous music.
